What is new with me?

Well, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I am on couple platforms creatively.

Obviously my website is actually the most direct way to connect with me. I am on here a lot.

Okay, enough shameless self-promotion now on to what you want to know about what is going on in my life now.

I am officially at my 5 year mark of serving at Northwest Church I love my job and my forever family there.

“God is doing some amazing things in my life, and making some real and powerful changes.”

My wife and I have reach 8 years of marriage and almost 10 years of knowing each other. I am so blessed to have Elena in my life, her honesty and sincerity are the exact reasons I married her. She is my partner, dragostea mea (my love), my Romanian crush. Someone who helps keep me accountable in my faith journey and recovery along with other great men of God.

Our son is officially 5 months away from being 2 years old. I am amazed at how much he has grown and learned over this last year. As well as how much he has taught me about my relationship to God and how to be a good father like my heavenly one.

January 1, 2021 I became the Executive Pastor of Worship Ministries at Northwest Church. This was a truly God created situation that I still can’t believe He did for me. I never dreamed or had an ambition to be where I am, I truly was content serving as I had been.

But in 2020 and the pandemic, I was stirred in my spirit that God wanted me to stand up for myself. Then through the prompting of the Holy Spirit, prayer, encouragement of friends. I was obedient to God’s call to speak up.

I was afforded the opportunity to candidate for the position and was subsequently given the role.

“I am so grateful for the people He has put in my life to help facilitate recovery and healing, as well as encouragement and inspiration to grow.”

Around this same time I felt that I needed to make my personal self more accessible to people online.

So, I started a podcast “On My Way Home: Carseat Confession” where I journal my thoughts on everything that’s happening to me and around me. Also, sharing personal devotional lessons I have learned or tried to adhere in my life.

God is doing some amazing things in my life, and making some real and powerful changes. I am so grateful for the people He has put in my life to help facilitate recovery and healing, as well as encouragement and inspiration to grow.

Thanks for reading God bless and keep your eye’s peeled for what’s coming next!
